Tara Franquez-Garrido is a graduate of the Academy of Our Lady of Guam and a graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Ohio. She has performed in numerous concerts and productions presented by various musical organizations and schools as a pianist, singer and/or conductor. Together with Dr. Lutter and Jan Goldhorn, she helped co-found the Guam Children’s Choir, which she later renamed the Guam Choristers and continued to direct for six years until 2006. Tara currently teaches private lessons in piano and voice at her studio in Sinajana. She enjoys each day of her life with her husband, Eric, and their four children. She is grateful to be able to share this Cantate experience of singing such beautiful music with her children.
